The Mary River Festival was held today at Kandanga so the members of Valley Bees decided to set up a stall to promote both our native bees and honeybees. Free samples of honey were available and a Trigona carbonaria hive was raffled off to raise funds for the group. The stall was a huge success, attracting a lot of interested visitors keen to discuss bees and try the honey.
